Getting Started
You can now manage Snapshot Manager and control discovery of assets from the NetBackup Web UI.
How to add Snapshot Manager
Add Snapshot Manager from the NetBackup Web UI.
From the NetBackup Web UI, navigate to Cloud > Snapshot Managers > Add.
You can associate multiple Snapshot Managers to a NetBackup primary server.
Add agent
Step 1 - Install agent
Download the host connector agent for Linux or Windows to be installed on the virtual machine.
Create token
Step 2 - Create token
After you download and install an agent, you must create a token to validate your host's connection to the Snapshot Manager.
In the NetBackup Web UI, navigate to Workload > Cloud > Snapshot Managers > Actions(ellipsis menu) > Edit > Add agent > Create token.
Add extension
Step 1 - Install extension
To install extension on a managed Kubernetes cluster, download the script and follow the documentation for deployment steps.
Create token
Step 2 - Create token
For configuring the extension, create a validation token.
In the NetBackup Web UI, navigate to Workload > Cloud > Snapshot Manager > Actions(ellipsis menu) > Edit > Add extension > Create token.
